Foxy has been my spirit ally and alter ego for many years, she is now immortalised in her own story, ‘Tales of the Amber Fox’ Written during the lockdown on March 2020 it is a reflection of my own witchy ways and those of the many groups and magical folk I’ve met over the years.
Originally meant as a book for my grandchildren about how to connect with nature and the unseen energies and friends around them, the story took on a life of its own during those hot, sunny, suffocating days of the lockdown.
I started to send snippets of the tale to my witch group – Elderthorn Coven – one of whom is a talented artist. He became absorbed in the story and worked some inspiring illustrations to accompany it.
So book one in the ‘Tales of the Amber Fox’ series , ‘Wild Wisdom’ was born.
I’m not sure where it came from, the sun woke me up each morning with dazzling light and a new part of the story would be there in my head.
I’m now totally absorbed in Book 2 of the series, The Call of the Hollow Hills following Foxy on her quest in the dangerous world outside her woodland home.
